AR Rahman follows Ilaiyaraja to the Olympics

It is a proud moment for Tamil cinema as two of its greatest talents will be featured in one of the greatest platforms in the world - the Olympics. Ilaiyaraja's Naandhaan Ungappanda from the Kamal Haasan - Sripriya starrer, Ram Lakshman is to be played at the opening ceremony and now we hear that AR Rahman is working with Danny Boyle on a score which will also be used in the opening ceremony of the Olympics.
Danny Boyle and AR Rahman have worked together on Slumdog Millionaire and 127 Hours. A lot is expected from this combination as their collaboration resulted in an Academy Award win for ARR. The maestro is unwilling to discuss his score for the Olympics opening ceremony at this point since work is still in the infancy stage.
